Clean wheels as the next step with the correct brush, before claying and polishing, as the chemicals used to clean rims and tyres could contaminate a freshly polished surface if done afterwards. Use a specially formulated wheel cleaner and wheel brush or mitt, clean the wheel working from the inside out. Wheel cleaners are powerful abrasives, so do not leave them on your wheels for too long, and it’s important to make sure all the cleaner is washed off.
